Very interesting and might come in handy.
However there is sometimes no getting away from doing it from scratch.

eg. I'm working on a song in which I would like to have a 4 part string section playing. However as most of the verse is just sitting on a D chord with the vocal line doing the work, the method described in the video may need a bit of tweaking.  DOH!

But I'll use it at some point.  Thanks Tone

I have no idea,  but realstrings did the strings for a friend of mine's album. I'll see if I can find out for you?
