Hey songwriters!

I found this site with some great video tutorials for getting the most out of your string arrangements, especially if you're using midi.

So glad I found this site. Post below if you find any other great string arrangement resources.

Very, very interesting that tone.
There are holes in the sky where the rain gets in  , but they're ever so small, that's why rain is thin.

I'm so lucky to have a girl in my group who plays violin at my gigs, but this site is awesome!

Very interesting and might come in handy.
However there is sometimes no getting away from doing it from scratch.

eg. I'm working on a song in which I would like to have a 4 part string section playing. However as most of the verse is just sitting on a D chord with the vocal line doing the work, the method described in the video may need a bit of tweaking.  :( DOH!

But I'll use it at some point.  :D Thanks Tone

I think I really learned something from those videos. His arrangements are amazing though. I wonder how much he charges?

I have no idea,  but realstrings did the strings for a friend of mine's album. I'll see if I can find out for you?
