Hi, I sometimes like to write to a bit of history and had the title. And after John and I finished off a writing session we then developed this remotely and I did the backing on my phone in GarageBand.

Anyway quite please with the way it turned out and wanted to share. So look forward to feedback and comments as ever.

:-)

A great adventure
Packed in the ice
So much endurance
To cross the thin white line

You can't deny, what’s been left behind
The ravages of time

Together, forever
Inhospitable weather
So inclement
It puts you off the scent

Further south the goal
Fatal challenge, invisible pole

It was getting colder
Kept were getting lost
The cards we were given
Were played at such cost

Now the world is melting
Shrinking in this crazy game
With the hand that we dealt with
Things will never be the same

Never ending vista
A sea of stunning white
Illuminates the polar sky
Something just isn’t right.

You can't deny, whats been left behind
The ravages of time

Hi Neil,

Beautifully written lyrics and the pads are lovely. It conveys the polar landscape perfectly. I loved your understated vocal delivery and the way you told the story so delicately. A sublime piece of work.
