Hi,Yes, get the T Robinson vibe too, but also made me think of Al Stewart. Nice song, well played and sung. Thought the production could have been a bit more dynamic, maybe a little too safe? There are other better qualified people on here to give you advice on how to do that.With my stuff it's all trial and error, and getting tips from the clever people on this forum.

Safe is really interesting, when I pulled this together, Neil said something was missing but couldn’t put his finger on it, I couldn’t hear that or feel anything else I could add, but that’s probably what he meant as well. 

Hopefully someone will have some ideas on that!

Hi Pete/Neil,

I think the lyrics work well. A good subject to tackle, and delivered in not too preachy manner. Chorus has punch with out being too in your face with its message, so the casual listener can sing a long, the more shall we say "political" listener can take the message as a protest song.
Sort of like Give Peace a Chance - some folk just sing along because it's a nice melody - some take the message to heart.

Liked the music and thought the production was really good.

Vocal sounded a little off but also worked in a Billy Bragg kinda way.
I didn't like this song much to be honest BUT "The truth doesn’t matter,
no one wants facts", soooooo
