Hi all..new song featuring lyrics by Sterix,

https://soundcloud.com/knmac/after-the-storm-by-knmacksterix

I try to find the words,
to tell you, how I feel,
but in the end,
my voice is silent,
and I don't know if it's real,
condemned to watch,
in torment,
as I throw it all away the storm descends,
all around me,
there is nothing but it's rage.

It steals the future,
that the stars,
had promised me,
and after all,
am I not worthy,
of the sound of your heartbeat,
I sense that this,
illusion,
has been shattered with goodbye what are the lengths,
that I would go to,
just to stay by your side,

to feel the storm rage when the war has been lost,
your heart is ice age as I've found to my cost,
my heart lies bleeding but it still clings to hope,
it won't stop beating and it won't let you go,

I threw the dice in vain,
no will to try again,
just want to hide away,
all is lost,

I try to find the words,
to tell you, how I feel,
but in the end,
my voice is silent,
and I don't know if it's real,
condemned to watch,
in torment,
as I throw it all away the storm descends,
all around me,
there is nothing but it's rage. ©KNmac/Sterix

Nice one @shadowfax

Wondered how you would make the lyrics fit (altering them was a bit of a challenge, not knowing the rhythm or how they would be sung, but I don't think they came out too bad in the end).

Top job @Sterix and @shadowfax Cracking set of lyrics put to a really catchy rock number. As usual, an extremely high quality of performance and production. Well done both of you  :)

Sounds massive, Kev!

Acoustic guitar slices through nicely and sounds really tight. That big chugging guitar is really muscular! Proper stadium rock sound.

Great lyrics too...you do work really well together...this is another belter!

@shadowfax

Love the big, open, airy sound you get Kev. Your yearning vocals could make me believe in the phonebook. You carry the great lyrics with style.

Hi Guys,

When that very first note was truck I though we were going to get Paranoid. :D

What a collab.
Great guitar work - lots of variety.
The vocal is really strong.
I'm not a fan of cymbals - usually because mine sound rubbish - but the sound you have around 3.20 is really good.

Hi
I really enjoyed this collobaration between you two gentlemen. I thought the production was 1st class and I loved the guitars including the powerful lead break. I thought the lyrics were interesting, if a little opaque but you did a great job in turning them into a melodic thoughtful song.Great vocals and I really liked the middle 8 and the delayed vocals on the 'to feel the storm' section.

Wow!, this really kicks ass. Love the strummed acoustic at the beginning and then the rock guitars come in and we're off on a sonic ride. Fabulous vocal delivery and it has that polished sound that you do so well. It's not the most melodic song I've ever heard but the production and lyrics hold it together.
Awesome
