Hello All,

I'd like to have your feedbacks on this tracks, we have written in november 2019, I with the great Help of Jean Marc Boulier (because without him I think it would have been creepy lyrics lol) the lyrics, Chris Cost composed the musics and made the mix :)
The reason why I share this song, is because, it is the first time I wrote lyrics of my little life , lol, and it is also for the moment the unique song we have made in the shakespear language.
Feel free to give us feedbacks on every topics you'd like

And again sorry for my english :), have a nice evening :)

Here are the lyrics : All the Best

Oh since you let me go
I’ve been standing all alone
My days have gone so slow
I’ve kept staring at my phone

We’ve had a good run
Some things I’ll never forget
And some that have come undone
Nothing left to regret

After all we went through
No sight of a new dawn
Between me and you
Happiness is now gone

It’s in my heart and soul
It’s in my heart and soul
The solid bonds we used to share
Gone into thin air

Oh if you treasure us, like I do
Oh I won’t make a fuss, like you do
Oh you believe in new romance, on your own
All the best

Promises and forevers
Is all we were about
Acting like strangers
Is what we’ll carry out

It’s in my heart and soul
It’s in my heart and soul
The solid bonds we used to share
Gone into thin air

Oh you believe in new romance, on your own
All the best
Oh you believe in new romance, on your own
All the best
Oh you believe in new romance, on your own
All the best

Will you float on cloud nine
If she looks out for you
Don’t mind me, I’m fine
I’m just feeling blue

It’s in my heart and soul
It’s in my heart and soul
The solid bonds we used to share
Gone into thin air

Oh if you treasure us, like I do
Oh I won’t make a fuss, like you do
Oh you believe in new romance, on your own
All the best
Please don’t be a stranger, because tomorrow
Is a new day

This is so very well performed and produced and also quite different. It's always great to see new members jumping in to forum life. We're a friendly bunch - LOVE that funky bass btw

Hi, I'm impressed with the lyric, I can't even write lyrics in my mother tongue, let alone another language!
Very nicely sung and its a very nice production, enjoyed it!
Keep them coming...

Cheers
Jamie

Hey Cé! Such a breezy song - I think it's the piano that really sweeps us along. I got a bit of an Abba vibe from the first couple of verses. Drums sounding really clean and clear too. Like your vocal style too - expressive without over singing.
Very nice and look forward to hearing more!

@Melusine2 - Great job - How does it feel, having people reviewing YOUR lyrics? I got 0% for a French exam, Miss Smile was from Glasgow and I didn't understand what she said in English let alone French, it was a disaster waiting to happen.

Love this song, an excellent job, flows very nicely. Gorgeous strings

Hello, I've just finished work :), @adamfarr  : your reference to Abba make me listen again the track and Oh my god, there is some indeed, even if i've not so much listened this group in my youth ^^, thanks for your comment :)
@cowparsleyman  : Yes To be reviewed by Jean Marc was very heplful because he traduced what I wanted to write, in so much better way, He has added so much new ideas in the text :).
Thanks for your Comments : )

@cowparsleyman

I sing , I write lyrics, but eventhough I learned guitar for 8 years in my youth, I've forgotten so many things and quite hard to relearn and play again.
I tried few years ago, to play again, but it was unsuccessfull :)
So I understand music, a bit of music theory but do not play any instrument.

I 've been singing in a cover band this year mostly folks & rock , but we all work in an another domain than music, and practice it as a hobby. But as I am passionnate of music, I am part of a french forum, and make collabs most of my wasted time, covers & composition

The lyrics are very well written, and it is easy listening indeed! I must agree with the comparison to Abba. The song has some similarities to some of Abba`s ballads :)

Love the opening.
A good piece of writing....envisioned this performed on a theatrical stage. Performance sounds really believable.
Good stuff, Melusine2

Hello

You did a great job with the lyrics!

You've a fantastic voice and this is a really great song. Super sounds...like the strings in particular...but all-round it was a brilliant listen.

Great to have you around!

ps

I didn't get an ABBA thing from it, really (just as well...I always thought they were terrible at writing lyrics) and I always figured that the girls only got married to those two fellas to save on the hotel bills.

Lovely song (you've got a beautiful voice that suits this type of song very well). Love the lyrics too.

I agree with everybody so far. Well, except I don't hear much ABBA, but maybe?? Beautiful voice and suits the song so well. First lyric?? Wow! I wouldn't let anyone hear my first lyric....  Love the piano, the bass, the strings...but first, the piano....
