I may very well be over excited but at least for now I think this is my best effort yet :-)
Inspired by recent events....

I can't turn around
and walk away
Through good and bad
I'm here to stay
There'll be a time
when once again
my feet will tread upon
solid ground
solid ground
solid ground

Yes, it hurts
when dreams are shattered
torn to pieces
by chance and circumstance
The things we longed for
now just bitter tears
The world it fell apart
while we stood deaf and blind and mute

I can't turn around
and walk away
Through good and bad
I'm here to stay
There'll be a time
when once again
my feet will tread upon
solid ground

Yes, it hurts
when faith is lost
and hope is fading
When lives are overturned
Our grand designs
crumble, can't be saved
We did not see it coming
we were so deaf and blind and mute

I can't turn around
and walk away
Through good and bad
I'm here to stay
There'll be a time
when once again
my feet will tread upon
solid ground

Hard to be uncertain
Hard to be afraid and divided
Hard to rise above it all

I can't turn around
and walk away
Through good and bad
I'm here to stay
There'll be a time
when once again
my feet will tread upon
solid ground

This is stunning absolutely stunning! What a great song excels in every area: production, arrangement, instrumentation, vocals and lyrics. As you probably can tell I enjoyed it and I also really liked and identified  with the sentiment of the song, wonderful.

Killer rhythm guitar sound and great playing all round!

Ready for radio...if only they had good enough taste to find and play it.

Great uplifting feel to it too...the whole ten yards.

Fab work, JB!

Great dynamics in this Jambrains... the way it ebbs and flows very naturally.  Also really like the sound of the reverb-drenched guitars in the verses.  The solo around the 2:20 mark is great too (no fromage there - it is very cool). The world needs positive songs at the minute... they should prescribe this one on the NHS.
It's all too beautiful.

Wow - talk about a great chorus.  ;D ;D
Lifts our spirits and soothes our souls.
Great vox, harmonies and lyrics.
But there is no weak link in this chain - I loved every second of it.

Hey There Jambrains.................A great piece of music, and with superb lyrics, you are definitely trod ding on "Solid Ground" with this one.
So Good to see ya........and as excellent as usual. Love your recordings...and that voice is your terrific signature.
Good stuff, man......I feel the excitement, with this. It's a great write!

Hi JB,

Great production values as always.
Agree with everyone else - radio ready - if only they still played songs with a lot of musicality. I'm sure they do really - somewhere.
To be fair, I did hear Nirvana on radio 2 the other day - even caught Mrs D singing along which was a shock.

Anyway, I digress.
Played and sang with gusto. Certainly up there with your best.
Ticks all the boxes for musicianship, melody and vocal performance.
Fairly instant as well - which must be a good thing.

Very good nice hook and really well produced. Guitars sound great, bass, drums all top notch. I would maybe drop the vocal a touch but I'm picking for the sake of picking really

really strong 'turn it up' song.. ticks all the boxes twice
kind of dangerous if your driving cos you want to put your foot down and overtake on bridges
real pro sound & mix
would def get radio plays in the states as much more open over there..
exciting and a spine bristler
knock out jambrains.. very best of luck with it
i may not believe this tomorrow...

Smashed it @Jambrains Love that vocal intro. Great driving rhythm and banging guitars. I thought this was absolutely top notch  :)

Yes, this is great all over. If there was anything at all that I didn't immediately like it was the intro as I felt the delays clashed a little at times with the vocals or they didn't quite line up. But I soon forgot about that. I certainly felt this was the true Jambrains. Not too many words but so effective - deaf and blind and mute. Guilty!
