Hi all,

We were approached by a guy who had an acoustic track that he wanted some help with. So we got to work to make it into a fully produced track.

All Lyrics were wrote by BooksandGuitars and we added a full backing track and backing vocals
Hope you enjoy the track, comments very welcome on every aspect of the track.
ps, Its on youtube as thats where the guys channel is.

Lyrics as follows:

I get the feeling that there's something Ive not done
I claim the victory but the war is never won
You stare right through me I don't feel like I be there
I keep on keeping on just let me know you care

You harbour demons in the depths of your despair
They're in your kitchen tween the tables and the chairs
All of the time I seek the truth that you belie
I'm waiting for the time
The numbers in the night....

The waterfall will turn in to stone
Until the day keeps coming
Everybody's running from the fever
That never comes on until it takes you over
Never let it cover your light

I give no reason for the mood you find me in
I'd pay to heed all the excuses for my sins
All of the time I seek the truth that you belie
I speak no truth in here So come with me outside

The waterfall will turn in to stone
Until the day keeps coming
Everybody's running from the fever
That never comes on until it takes you over
Never let it cover your light

The waterfall will turn in to stone
Until the day keeps coming
Everybody's running from the fever
That never comes on until it takes you over
Never let em under your line

Waterfall will turn in to stone
And well it keeps on coming
Don't stop running from the fever
That never comes on until it takes you over
Never let it cover your light

This is a great song and a great track.Fantastic vocals( touch of the Gallaghers here and there but nothing wrong with that) and really liked the lyrics However the backing track/production that you boys have provided elevates this song to a different level.Great job all round.

Fab sounds - I might even say trademark Atticvibes?!

Very interesting lead into the chorus - to me it didn't quite give the chorus the energy it should have. I think I might try dropping out the backing behind "the waterfall will..." and then bringing it all back for "turn into stone", or at least not having the second guitar hit on the word "fall". Just a thought.

Love the light and shade here all through though, and that guitar tone is super sweet as always.

Hi guys, great production, sounds really good. Definitely a touch of the ' small pond in the desert' type vibe. Enjoyed listening to it, I'm not sure I would have a had the 'pause' as the chorus starts up, loved the build to the guitar solo.

Good stuff guys!

Cheers
Jamie

Hi Guys,
Thanks for listening,
Noted the energy before the chorus.
we didnt want to bulldoze his track so we ran with his original idea. As you prob heard on our material, we love a ramp up before a big chorus.
BUT he contacted us because he liked the vibe on our own tracks so its great that peeps have mentioned the AtticVibes sound, Thank you for that.

The Gallaghers are very much in town on this, that was the vibe for sure, on the vocals especially.
Jamie, I will check out the "small pond in the desert", thats a band I take it. off to google them.

Its interesting working with other people and mixing ideas, and hes a nice guy too, easy to work with and accepted suggestions etc.

We are co writing with him at the moment on a new track, thats to come,

Thanks guys for listening, I know its not strictly our track but we certainly put our stamp on it.

Cheers

Hey,
It's a very successful piece. I really like the warm sound and the progression of the song in general. I don't know what to say to improve it because for me it's all there. I appreciate the grain of the voice and the interventions of the guitar solo in the corners, it's well balanced.
Great song!

Yep very nice track... before I read the others comments I was also thinking 'Liam and Noel...' - it's the vocal inflections, the chorus melody and the guitar solo overdubs I think.  Nothing wrong with that though, it worked well for them (and the lyrics are better than Noel's!).  I like the imagery of a waterfall turning to stone a lot, and it all has a strong build that keeps going through the whole thing.  Liked it a lot.
It's all too beautiful.
