Yes; long, complicated lyrics (sounded good in my head so I'm happy). Freshly written just now. It's about makind destroying the world and takes a nod towards what someone/thing would find if they happened upon Earth in the aftermath.

This is the end
The world is broken
Won't start again
Not in our time

What's your defence
Now that it's over?
You sat the fence
Feeding the lie

Now tomorrow
Is not gonna be there
With its promise of fixing our fails
And what follows
Is upending nightmare
Say goodbye to mankind and his tales

Cos that's all we are
In the midst of the stars
Just a small ball of water and dirt
That was dear to our hearts
But we lost sight of her
And we stripped her apart
We were blind to the signs for so long
We got it all wrong

We dared to dream
Shaping a planet
We could bequeath
To the next ones

But it's too late
There's too much damage
Left in our wake
What have we done?

Now tomorrow
Is not gonna be there
With its promise of fixing our fails
And what follows
Is upending nightmare
Say goodbye to mankind and his tales

Cos that's all we are
In the midst of the stars
Just a small ball of water and dirt
That was dear to our hearts
But we lost sight of her
And we stripped her apart
We were blind to the signs for so long

And that's all we were
When they chance upon Earth
Just another lost legend of life
And a few rambling words
Will they even describe
How we destroyed our world?
Will they mourn us or simply move on?
We got it all wrong

INSTRUMENTAL

This is the end
Our reign is over
But don't pretend
We had to fail

We walked the edge
Of here and nowhere
Where one mis-step
Secured our fate

Cos that's all we are
In the midst of the stars
Just a small ball of water and dirt
That was dear to our hearts
But we lost sight of her
And we stripped her apart
We were blind to the signs for so long

And that's all we were
When they chance upon Earth
Just another lost legend of life
And a few rambling words
Will they even describe
How we destroyed our world?
Will they mourn us or simply move on?
We got it all wrong

We got it all wrong!

And now we are gone...
