Hi PJ,

Echo the others on the Beatles- and why not when it produces such good songs.
The orchestral touches are really good. Love that relentless piano sound.

Just a great little tune.

Hey John
I never thought fun would rhyme with American but damn - it does!
Beatles would have been proud of a song like this.
Good work

John,
Loved it from start to end.
Great chord progression, the dominant piano and your lennonesque vocal delivery.
And the lyrics.
Just top notch.

"Thought that he could have some fun
Swinging with and Austrian"

Just FAB...

I love the way you deliver a slow lyric (I'm sooooo bad at that!!) ... this a prime example of this..

One of my faves among many faves of yours..

Indeed, I too get some Beatles vibe from this, can't put my finger on it, probably the "sound", that piano and the strings? Orchestral parts works well except for the ending that gave it away a bit. To me this is kind of the essence of your work, the writing, the vocals, all distinctively you. Me like, bravo!

Hi !
I like this orchestral side mixed with a more pop rock interpretation à la Bowie. It works well. I love the dubbing of the backing vocals and your voice always has that something real. You have to keep exploring your DAW, it's working out pretty well for you  ;)

This is terrific. Great song subject gets the Beatles treatment. The string arrangement is superbly done - must have taken ages - it's even got a little bit of the Penny Lane trumpet!
Can't find anything to fault but so much to like.
