To be human is a burden,
we all know when to die.
we all know when to laugh
we all know when to cry.
we all know where we come from
we all know where we're going
the only thing we don't know
is how we're gonna get there.

to be human is a blessing.
we can use our eyes to see
the colours of the universe
the souls of you and me
we have this thing called love
we have this thing called hate
we're not sure how to use them
it one of life's debates.

we'll dissolve into a destructive breed
and ruin what we've got
ticking like a time bomb
until the world is shot.
ticking like a time bomb.
until the world is shot.

this took 10 minutes while I was waiting for my microwave pizza to cook !!!!!

To be human is a blessing.
To be human is a curse.
We don't know just how it came to this.
but we know it could be worse.

I've given a lot of thought through the years to this "blessing/curse" dualistic idea.  I've determined that every attribute any of us was born with, or were "born into" is either a blessing or a curse.  What determines whether an attribute is a blessing or a curse?  How we use it.  Simple as that.

You're welcome to use this in any way you wish.  Hope it helps.
