The end of the end

The man in a suit
Is pretty cute
Look at him now
Sad
Somehow
Things are looking grim
There's no lady no lady with him
But the man has no doubt
She's somewhere in a crowd
Look at her now
Sad
Somehow
Looking really good
Waiting waiting for the man in a suit
They finally met
For a tete a tete
Look at them now
Sad
somehow
Trying and crying in vain
Cos there's no no love again
Farewell folk
No no love again

With the right music, this could just SING and FLY. With the wrong music, it will die. Many very good lyrics are like that.
It's a great lyric looking for just the exact right music.

You've overestimated me. I can't read those chords and make them mean anything in real time. BUT. . . you've picqued my curiosity. If I get time, I'll work on that to see if I can hear it.

I am also intrigued...since you've included chords, does that mean you have a melody for this already? I sat down with my guitar and started strumming to see what would come and it all worked out pretty well until I got to the "There's no lady, no lady with him" section. Then it all fell apart for me. Couldn't make that bit work at all. I liked what I did up to there, though.
@hardtwistmusic
, I should send you what I did, in case you can use it while you're messing with it.

You're never too old to try something new.
And I take my own advice: check out my albums:
