My friends got married so I wrote this as a wedding gift for them. They’re interested in conservation, birding, travelling and making home brews all of which I tried to work into the song.

They said they liked it. I hope you do too!

Lovely song with a very memorable tune, fab lyrics and nicely sung...my only crit is it,s a little bit dry, a bit of reverb to impart a feeling of space would benefit this song nicely..well crafted  song my friend... :)

I can see why they like it, Nicely done! real good melody, Vocals & playing.
I agree with Shadowfax, a bit of reverb on the Vox would go along way. I really
wanted to hear that acoustic double tracked but it sounds good as is,
what a thoughtful gift :)

Can't help but think of this as a sort of modern Neil Young type vibe.
It's a lovely song, and a lovely gift.
The lyrics are very thoughtful and the chords well matched. I like the ascending chord run and associated vocal line. To me, it just makes a lot of sense musically.
Good stuff, and congratulations to the happy couple! :D

Yo BigFish, very pleasant well constructed track and I can imagine it must have gone down fantastically as a wedding gift.  Nice production too, mix sounded very balanced and the 'Where to now?' line/title is full of optimism.
It's all too beautiful.

Thank you! Very kind. I may come back to this one and give it a bit more polish someday. As you say, some production would compliment it. Thanks again.

Thank you! If I reverb it up and double the guitars I'll make another post and let you know. Thanks for your kind words.

Thank you! Being compared to Neil Young is a great compliment for me, so thanks for that. It was a great wedding. It was very kind of them to throw a big party and invite us so I wanted to do something that paid back a little. Thanks again.

Hey thanks, that's really kind. I usually write quite sweet songs, which I thought would work well as a wedding gift. Thank you sir!

Thank you! Very kind to say. I'm quite insecure about my voice. I don't actually like it so much. I shudder to think the amount of re-tuning that was required when I finished recording. Still, you have to work with what you've got right? Thanks again for your kind review.

Nice one.
I really like the acoustic guitar in this and it's a nice arrangement.
I like the vocal too - it has a lovely lilt to it :)
As Kevin says maybe a touch of reverb would serve it well.
Good ending BTW

Too kind. It seems the only person who doesn't like my voice is me!! :D

Thanks so much for the review. It means a lot to me.
