Heyo! This is a low-quality recorded demo I made for a band I played in and wrote songs for. The band's since died, but I liked the song, so I dug up the demo to see how it stands. It's a short, punky, guitar riff-driven track. It's vaguely about the music industry, but my lyrics weren't very prolific back then :3
The obvious issues are the poor recording quality and the tempo and timing issues, especially with the digitally drawn in drums (no drummer :P). I want to know if fans of the genre like the structure of the song; if it's something they'd listen to as an actually well-produced track

Lyrics:
Code: [Select]
Concrete
The structure's going out the back door
In company
Bouquet and a power saw
Floodlights, dynamite, the satellite side of your mind

Take me
Originality has been cloned
In scarcity
Mechanical combustion
Oil spills, dirty thrills, sleeping pill swallowed in pride

Swim in blood money
Roll in a grave
Creation is burnt out
At the stake
Swim in blood money
Listen to pain
 Praise the manufactured
Lies of saints

Power
Into gluttony, devour
The tower
Of the man of the hour
Congregate, asphixiate, renovate the liars abused

Louder
Till blood turns sour
The flower
Of sound turned solar
Control, fireball, broken soul, metal infused

Swim in blood money
Roll in a grave
Creation is burnt out
At the stake
Swim in blood money
Listen to pain
 Praise the manufactured
Lies of saints

(Solo)

Swim in blood money
Roll in a grave
Creation is burnt out
At the stake
Swim in blood money
Listen to pain
 Praise the manufactured
Lies of saints

The main riff is really catchy, I think that the intro is too long though. When the vocals come in it become a difficult listen (more to do with the recording quality). I like the obvious energy and how real it is.

When you got a poor recording but still you liked it, you know it is a good song.

I think you really need to work on it production wise because the song is very good. I'm really into punk even though your song reminded me a lot more of Arctic Monkeys than anything else.

I hope you give it another try because the song deserves it.

Thanks for sharing.
