ALL MY HEART

I had a dream that we'd be together
be like this forever and ever
but how wrong can one man be
you're no longer here with me.

I loved you with all my heart
i did from the start, yeah!
id catch every falling star
so id know where you are
yeah, yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah.

I cant believe i wont see those eyes,
i'll never see them shine summer skies
i'll never hear your heartbeat next to mine
i'm just so sorry i had to make you cry

I loved you with all my heart
i did from the start, yeah!
id catch every falling star
so id know where you are
yeah, yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah.

Another fine song from you @Sebandme It reminded me of The Verve in some ways. Great melody and lovely vocals, nicely produced as well. Enjoying listening to your catalogue

Hello @Sebandme :) I really like this one, especially instrumental parts. Vocals feel pretty sad and discreet. Calm melody is beautiful and accompaniment is perfectly gentle.

 Hi @Sebandme

Really nicely put together track, well arranged & recorded. The reverb really gives the vocal a nice touch.

Same could be said about your other track “Distance” - maybe this is an album coming together? :)

Hey Seb, the tinkling guitar (?) effect at the start is very effective - quite unusual and gives the track an immediate signature sound.  I expected it to pop up again after the first chorus (you save it for a reappearance around 2:50 but you could deploy it earlier again probably... it's pretty hooky).  Voice sounds great.  Only thing I didn't really like was the title, felt a bit cliched to me, although those words worked fine in the song itself.  I thought fans of the band Embrace would like this one a lot... a very nice wide screen piece of emotive indie.
It's all too beautiful.

This is lovely @Sebandme - melody is particularly strong and it really suits your voice. I too loved that guitar in the intro, sucked me right in from the get go. Only thing that struck me was the use of ‘every’ in ‘catch every falling star’ it seemed a little rushed - if it were me, I’d probably swap in ‘each’. But that’s just personal taste (and a little rich from me, being very wordy in my lyrics 👀😁).

Lovely work..

@MonnoDB yeah i think youre right about the "each" rather than every would so better.

@PaulyX no thats not guitar but an arpeggiator backed by strings.

Cheers for the listen and input guys i really appreciate it.

@Sebandme - I was drifting away in the sea of verb, out over the lights of night of NY or where ever it is in your photo.

I think some others have mentioned the rather uneasy fitting of of some of the lyrics, but that's not always a bad thing...it's your call man.

Like your ideas, (never heard any Verve) and your arrnagements.

Cool song my friend...enjoyed the listen, 2 things occurred to me, the intro was a little bit too long and there was not much in the way of light and shade throughout the song..I feel a good song such as this would benefit tremendously if you implemented these two things, :)

best, Kevin :)

Yo @Sebandme

A lovely.sparkling intro, leading into your languid vocal delivery all makes for a gentle and very pleasant listen.

Dunno if it was the sea of verb, but something between the bass and acoustic sounded a little off pitch? Minor detail anyway.
