I get that white page when I post too. I tend to open up a new tab and browse to where I posted to check if it posted or not. I tend to find that, even though I've posted "last" when I've created a topic, I tend not to show as the latest post.

Yeah,me three on the white page thang. I do the same as Sterix to check,plus I always copy a post before hitting submit,as some lengthy diatribes have gone missing!

This usually only happens when I create a new thread,not replying to existing threads.

We had this type of behaviour a few years ago and I think it was a server issue so I can log it for investigation

Could you please all post your device and browsers to see if there is any more info I can give

Does it always happen or just some times (ie any particular times of day?)

I get the white page typically when starting a new thread,not usually when replying on an existing one. For me at least,the thread usually is posted,but until I open another tab to check,I'm never certain. It's been a while since I've lost a post altogether,though it has happened.

 I don't think the time of day is a factor for me,but I wouldn't be sure on that one. What does seem to make it more likely to happen is,if some time has passed from the beginning of a new thread creation,to the time the post button is hit.

It happens on a Mac using Safari and on Android using Chrome.

happens to me too but till this thread i assumed it was my ancient 'sash' windows..
or perhaps the page just timing out . 
the longer you leave the reply pane inactive, the more likely for it to fail..?
like davey ive learnt to copy what ive written before hitting the go button.
if i get the white page i leave it hanging and go to the forum again in a second window to see if its there.
im on firefox

Yeah,I've had the 'time out' thing with posts before nooms,but when that happens it always flicks me to the Login page,the white page thing is different...I think!

Same as John here..happens every time, i usually ignore it and find that the post went ok but this last time I ended up with 2 posts but dunno how...

on windows 10 and firefox..

Same here. Happens when I start a topic. Windows 10. Google Chrome. I do find though that the topic has always posted successfully when I refresh.

I think I may have tracked this bug down and squashed it under my new boots. Please can anyone who's been experiencing this issue try creating a post and see if it works for you now?

I'll delete any test posts so don't worry about making a mess on the forum

A forum where you had trouble posting was not ideal!!

Everything is working for me and the forum generally feels “quicker and slicker”

Works lovely for me. Not only do I no longer get the blank screen after posting but I now show up as the last poster! Woot!
