@MonnoDB

Thanks Karen,we usually cringe when we hear ourselves talk!  :D

@PaulAds

Big compliment from the lyric master,thanks Paul.  :)

@Andi

I've been accused of Knopfler before!  ;) Thanks Andi.

@LukeArmstrongMusic

I'm glad you enjoyed the song,thanks Luke.  :)

@cowparsleyman

I've always struggled to get what I want in a vocal tone and to get it sitting in the mix. I mostly use a Logic vocal plugin 'Dance vocal' and alter the EQ a little,so I hear what ya say. I need to experiment more,perhaps! Ta Rich.  :)

@pompeyjazz

Thanks John.  :)

@nooms

Thank you so much,sir. You give me heart.  :)

@Binladeda

Old 'un?  >:(  I'll have you know,mister...you are quite right.  ;D
Hope you are getting well Steve,we all miss you around of late,don't be a stranger.
I'm glad the bridge thingy threw you,at least it kept you awake!  :P   :D

@shadowfax

That's a positive spin Kev!  :D Thanks man.

@digger72

The synth sound is just a Logic plugin,played from my typing keyboard,two fingered wonder!  ;D

@MichaelA

I'll leave all the funny stuff in your capable hands Michael!  :D Thanks for the listen.

@PaulyX

Sweet and sour music,eh?  :D Thanks a lot Paul.

@Rightly

Wow Rightly,the thought of me inspiring you in any way is awesome for me.  :)

@mickyplankton

Much appreciated Micky,thanks man.  :)

No piano plays?
Come on man - hit me where it hurts why don't cha?
Great song Davey - I like the guitar and as other have said the profound lyrics.
Good vox too - lots of variation with the octaves and harms and all.
But seriously you need to find a sunnier spot :D

Hi Skub, love the guitar tones and playing in this one (as usual!). Loved the double tracked vox and backing vox too! I think you've been listening to the same depressing stuff that I like ;).

Excellent,great feel.

Cheers
Jamie

Hey Davy, your writing is always interesting.  I’ve always said that your vocal reminds me of Roy Orbison.  That’s a great starting point!  This is a real road movie song and makes me think of the film “Thelma and Louise”  I also think of Chris Isaak who is a great writer.  It’s a real treat to listen to this song!  I always admire folks who go the extra mile and include backing vocals too.  You’re a master of your guitar my friend!

Good work here!!
