Got sorted, spent 3 days installing stuff, finally finished, it's got an NVMe drive for the OS which ( I'm told ) is 6 times faster than a normal SSD, boy does it show, stuff loads in a flash..32GB ram and all SSD drives for the other stuff, and no probs with W10 so far, cubase works and looks better..dead chuffed, should've done it yonks ago :) 8)

Hi Kev,

My 2010 Mac pro decided to become a guitar seat so I had to regretably buy a bloody PC. I wasnt happy.

BUUUTT, after spending a fair few of my hard earned pennies on a state of the art 2019 audio workstation specced to the max. I will take it back, windoze running cubase 10 pro and a lot of plugs without any problem at all.

latest I9 with 64 gig ram, 8 gig video card, ssds and and plug on mother board drive, wow, what a difference in speed and how it handles a heavy mix session.

So yeah feel your pain dude, but, we are on the other side.

Good times ahead.

I don’t want to tempt fate but I think Windows 10 had really helped with the PC v Mac battle - it feels rock solid and just “works” **touches wood**  ::)
