Hi all,

We've been busy getting this track ready and mastered.

Heres a our latest track, Inspired by a well known 80's rock indie band.

As usual, all volumes to be set to 11, and crank some more if possible. Enjoy.

Lyrics are as follows,

Verse 1:
You’re dangerous, Mysterious
You’re Running through me like a million pieces
I’m hypnotised, Paralysed
Coz you’re the queen of the Species

Pre 1
And there’s a message in your smile
I’m like a rabbit in your headlight..

Chorus
But if you need me Ill be waiting here for your call to sound
ill be all you ever need
and when your lonely and longing for someone to be round
I will always let you breath
I will never let you bleed

Verse 1:
You’re a guiding hand, without a plan
You lead me through the uncertain darkness
You’re reaching out, without a doubt
and I can see your light through my blindness

Pre
And there’s a message in your smile
I’m like a rabbit in your headlight..

This full of confidence and energy. Lovely harmonies and superb playing. Musically, it's all spot on. My only thought is that it is derivative - if I was this skilled I would want my songs to not sound like anyone else but that's just me.

It's still one hell of a piece.

@macker71165 @diademgrove @montydog @Skub @shadowfax

Thanks guys, not sure where the Oasis thing is coming from, we didn't think it sounded anything like them, we were trying for a cult vibe, but hey, we'll take it as long as you all enjoyed it.

Alan, we purposely emulate various styles as we are after sync licenses, and they are always asking for songs "in the style of", so we are trying to coverall the bases

Cheers to all, Mikey

It's a right mash up between some 70s lead guitar on the one hand and brit pop indie anthemic sounds on the other. Another one for Glastonbury next year!

Very skilled and dynamic rock track, great stuff.
My latest novel: pls check it out!

‘Gavin & The Bodysnatchers’, a quirky comedy crime thriller. Easily found on Amazon.

@shadowfax , I suppose so, but Andy's voice is what it is, so I guess we will always sound a bit like them, I'm sure Oasis wouldn't be bothered by us, but kind of you to say so,

Cheers. Mikey

@MichaelA , thanks mate, you are spot on, I'm a child of the 70's, into Zep, Sabbath, Free, ACDC etc, but Andy is a britpop baby, so our style is a mix of the two, but we both like it and think it gives us a bit of our own sound,

Glad you like it and thanks, Mikey

Yeah, that was magic. Loved the energy, and the drum arrangement is really spot-on. Fantastic use of echo, especially at the breakdown towards the end. The thing I would want to tweak if I was in your band is the guitar sounds. They're decent, but didn't wow me. Super song though.

Definitely getting that cult Vibe. Very cool and strange I have also used the lyric rabbit and headlight only latestsong ! Must be a trend lol. Great production, a light-hearted nostalgic jaunt I was very pleased to go along for the ride.

Hi Guys,

Great stuff.
Loved the energy. Very nice solo.
I was getting Stone Roses perhaps more than Oasis.
Summery and just makes you want to move.

Glasto wishes they were hearing songs like this.

Really enjoyed it.

A solid piece indeed, well performed and produced yet it left me strangely indifferent even though this should be right up my alley. Can't really figure out why, but I guess you can't win them all :-) Or maybe it's a slow grow thing?
Anyway, probably just me and my taste, I'm sure there will be plenty of people who will love it, good luck with the sync, the chance of success would be high if you ask me.
