Hello everyone,
I am new here, this forum and songwriting generally. So, I'll be honest, the only lyrics of mine that has been made into a demo didn't impress me that much, but passed. It didn't sound like gospel music. That's all. Take a listen here: https://soundcloud.com/user-173946826/our-god-you-reign
I want to collab with anyone, music composers/artists, etc who can turn my lyrics to sweet gospel music. I want to hear the words take life. I have quite a number of them. I will love to supply a band or an up-coming artist my lyrics. If you are interested, try the lyrics below.

YOU'RE MY FATHER

You're my father
The best there is
You've got it all,
All I need and want.
You've got fame, power;
Throne, dominion and a
Miracle-working name
Oh oh oh God
You're my father
You're my father

Verse 1:
There's no glory like Your glory
You own all the heavens,
Every space on earth:
The bright and the dark,
The known and the mysteries.
You're my father!

You're my father
The best there is
You've got it all,
All I need and want.
You've got fame, power;
Throne, dominion and a
Miracle-working name
Oh oh oh God
You're my father
You're my father

Verse 2:
Almighty and eternal father
The beginning and the end.
Owner of all life and time ;
Of fates and destinies.
Only You could've been my father.
You're my father!

To be honest what he had to work with I personally think he done a great job, first lesson you need to remember this is also a public songwriters forum so take the hint, post your thoughts on other songwriters lyrics/songs then post more of your lyrics and relax into it, believe me we seen it all before   8)

Hello Dogmax, I get you. But don't get me wrong, I love and appreciate his work. The bit I have reservation is the style, it sounded like country music than a gospel music. And no offense here, I love country music.
