This is sadly a true tale for too many. I thought the playing and arrangement were excellent as was the vocal. I'm not a great fan of the social commentary reportage style but this is a very competent and clever piece of work.

@montydog Interesting - firstly, let me thank you for taking the time to listen and your kind words, especially regarding the vocal. Very encouraging for me.
I have seen you use the "reportage" word a few times before when commenting on others' work, and indeed, on one of my previous songs. I think of it as "observational" and TBH, I think that when I use this style, I write my stronger songs. Not sure why that is the case! I'm not saying you have to be a fan of it at all, but as a style, it works for me - it just seems natural.
