No no you misunderstand me. I haven't cut down my intro....wouldn't do that for anybody!
I was just saying that your intro was fairly long too....only ten seconds shorter than mine!
Take it easy.

You can check my stuff out here. Mini-album getting bigger slowly. Free download if you're poorer than me.

I have a rule, no intro longer than 15 secs,

I read somewhere that a commercial tune must follow this rule,

Could be total Bo**ocks but must be true, it was on the internet. pahhahhaaa.

This is really good! I wanted to give a couple listens before commenting.
you really do pick up more on the lyrics after another pass which are well thought
out and work very well together. The change at 2:45 is perfect, my first impression
was that maybe there should be a bridge with vocals to change it up more but i
didnt feel that as much the second time around. You really captured the mood and feel
that these strong lyrics convey. Impressive! .....Ray

Hi,

I like your song. The voice has something, that's for sure.  The rest is simple but effective. It's well produced in style because it's not too clean and I think it's good. I like the ending in echo.  The only thing that bothered me a little bit was the appearance of the guitar on the right at 0.14'.

Great work!

Thank you for the feedback. It's all recorded using a bass, no conventional guitars and one of the the things I like to do is demonstrate the range of sounds I can achieve with my bass. I think the "guitar" part you are referring to is the little reverse fade in bit ? this is more just a sound effect to add a bit of texture to the song it pops up now and again throughout the song

Yes, that's right, the fade in! This use of the bass is surprising and very successful.
