He was an…
Important man.
He affected a lot of people’s lives
and they named things after him.

He was an . . .
uncareful man.
He was never “found guilty”
but he really wasn’t innocent.

He knew no shame.
Accepted no blame.
He cheated and lied for the winning side,
His poor wife could never trust him,

He was an
important man.
He was an
effective man.
He was an
important exceptional man.
And everyone knew his name.

He was an . . .
effective man.
He learned the art of compromise,
and he knew how to get things done.

He was an
extraordinary extremely educated man.
I believe that he did more good than harm.
But there’s a lot of things we don’t know.

His death was very
or di nary.
He just fell ill one winter night
and never woke up in the morning.

He was an
important man.
He was an
effective man.
He was an
important exceptional man.
But no one remembers his name.

Lol. I really enjoyed this.
I usually find it tough going, reading songs without music but this is really good.
Thought provoking without being so aggressive.
I'd be very interested to hear the music, if it exists.

Thanks.
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

And there you have it.

Thanks for the encouraging words.  As for the music, it will be awhile.  The old XP
computer I record on is dying, and I'm dependent upon it.  Waiting to see if it can be resurrected.  I have other options, but the old machine with the old O.S. is just far better and easier.  Either way (if it can, or cannot be fixed) it will be awhile before I can record again.

Well that's a shame.
Lyrically it seems to have potential though not quite stand alone.
Can't you do a demo on a guitar?

Good luck with the laptop.
