Hi everyone,
Jam and I are excited to share this one with ya! All I had was a melody and some gibberish...and some truly epic beatbox!🤣🤪 Jam heard it and immediately sent back a file drowning out my magnificent beats with some Real bad ass drums and guitar...the rest is...a really long, boring story...😆..but finally...here we are.😎👍🏻 I had a blast with Jam as always!

All thoughts are welcome! And thanks for listening.😄🎶👊🏻🎶

Lyrics
Zoe’s eyes show her resolve
And I love her more
Our hearts beating fast
She pulls outside the bank and it’s time.

I feel the sun, it’s freedom on my face
But God we need the cash, I pull down the mask
Cos I don’t see another way...oh no.

Chorus.
This is the part where you tell me
Everything is gonna be alright
Taking a chance on a feeling
Oh no, this is the part where you tell me
Everything is gonna be alright
Baby’s got an alibi.

Engines running, I come stumbling
Bag of cash in hand.
But some stupid guard took a shot
I wasn’t armed just a finger, in a jacket

I feel the sun, grow colder on my face
Zoe hits the gas, I’m losing blood fast
I see her wipe a tear away...oh no.

Bridge.
I know this wasn’t the plan
Pull over, you’ve still got a chance
I throw her the cash
I kiss her tell her don’t look back.......drive!

Really strong melancholy (usually I prefer joyful/positive songs, but this one is neat). My attention was focused on vocals and solo guitar in the end. Lyrics are exceptional and enhance painful impression.

This is exceptional. Top drawer. Everything about this song just clicks. Singing is great. The guitar is superb and the story dramatic and tragic. Absolutely love the production. Every element shines. And the siren and the way it builds in the last 3rd elevates this to pretty much a masterpiece. Great great work guys.

Good song guys.

A real Rock Anthem.

Love the vocal, drums and those brilliant guitars.

Song has a real 80s feel.

Top tune.

Hey @LostBoy and @Jambrains - this is fab.. Just love the story, interesting and engaging - and different! It's no surprise that I should like this but I guess everything for me is spot on - vocals, guitars, drums... and beautifully produced... Siren is a great touch... sounded so real I took my buds out yesterday on my first listen to check it wasn't actually real (like outside my house!) ...

Fantastic!

Wowzers!

This is just great fellas.

Awesome, tight rockin' guitars and Leo in the best voice I've heard yet. Combustible material!

I'm sticking this on repeat tonight.  8)

@Jibbek , @mickyplankton, @Movin Flavour, @MonnoDB, @pompeyjazz and @skub : thanks for the very kind feedback boys & girls!  :D
This one took quite some time to get right but the result was well worth the effort.
Btw, anyone considering collaborating with @LostBoy should be aware of the fact that he has an attention to details second only to Swedish tax collectors (and I love him for that!) :-) :-) :-)

Hi Guys,

Sounds really polished.
A little bit soft rock for my tastes; tend more towards the dirtier/grittier side of rock.
But that's not to take away from how well this has been put together.
Great musicianship. The vocal is perfect for the music.
And the mix is excellent.

Top notch stuff.

Two things struck me when I heard this, the first being that if they ever do a sequel to Top Gun then this has to be in one of the flying sequences after the lovers have split up.
The second is how much care and attention was given to the tracking vocal for the lead melody.

If Brian Adams should ever tour England again  with his volcano album , and he gets some throat infection then give Leo a call will sort it out

Nice fretboard antics too, i bet those tiger skin leggings chafed like hell, could use a body painter instead...

Really liked it and respect the work involved

Damn, that's a very good vocal performance! :o Absolutely can't fault it, great control, tone, very convincing delivery. You should be proud of this one.

Likewise the production is really good. Drums have a super real feel, and of course, I can hear someone playing an actual guitar! Basically it sounds like it's on the radio. Nice commercial hooky tune (love the soaring chorus) with a convincing commercial sounding production.

I feel like this review doesn't do the song justice, but when everything's done just right what can you say?!

Super classy classic rock tune.

Wow, it's great to hear your voice against a rock backdrop Leo.
As has been said, this kicks the proverbial.  Epic production, really well sculpted... it really soars, and both the vocal and instrumentation live up to that.
Definitely has that 80s big-hair-rock feel to it... maybe a touch of camembert in the widdles and siren effect in the middle 8 (I could picture you both in Spandex with Flying Vs during that bit...) but even then its totally enjoyable.  The underlying track is so strong I felt you could rein those aspects in a bit and you'd still have an absolute winner on your hands here.  Some more in this vein please.
It's all too beautiful.
