 Hey,

Last one.....promise ;D .  Again, apologies for the late entry ::)

Anyway, this is a real Saarf Coast effort.  Plymouth, Portsmouth and Brighton...can't get more Saarf than that ;D
I suppose my initial aim was to get an early 70's rock thing going.  Bit of Stones/Humble Pie sounding stuff...that sort of thing ;D
So, I put a couple of riffs together a bit of bass and some drums, and sent it to some rock stars I know ;D ;D  This is what I got
 back....

Amazing really....and I bloody love it ;D ;D .   I hope it brings some joy to you as well  ;D

Good luck in the comp everyone.

   Here's the lyrics

Hey let me get things straight
I don't want to hesitate
Waited there far too long
Cos I don't want to do you wrong
I need every little bit
How else can I make it fit ?
Come on baby, give me a clue
Nothing else that I can do

Help me do my bit
And put a little jam on it

Everything is here for you – Don't you want it
Don't know what I'm going to do but – I can't stop it
Been happening every night – You can't fight it
Only thing that you can do is – Put a little jam on it

Don't you know if you spread it thick
You're going to end up feeling sick
Really put yourself to the test
End up in a sticky mess
Only so much you can do
Stop you getting in a stew
Come on now and give me a hit
And put a little jam on it

Everything is here for you – Don't you want it
Don't know what I'm going to do but – I can't stop it
Been happening every night – You can't fight it
Only thing that you can do is – Put a little jam on it

Not really sure who did what......PJ certainly sang though ;D ;D

Great collab guys.

This song really rocks.

Some excellent guitars and drums and sung with lots of energy.

Has a real 80s Rock feel for me.

Top tune

I like the kooky lyrics a lot!  Just the right shade of nonsense about them.
John sounds a bit like the great Noddy Holder in this one.
Clever use of that 'jam on it' sample too.
Big bolshy riffing from the South Coast Massive guys - that's a fine way to start Saturday morning here.
It's all too beautiful.

Great rocking song. I especially love the pre-chorus bit - it´s a perfect segue to the chorus. Really inventive all the way through as the diversity in the music, in my opinion, leads the vocal melody more than the other way around. It works brilliantly though. Who doesn't´t love a good rocking guitar solo?

Nice raunchy song guys - love the energy in this.
Bin swings the axes effectively and John's vocals suit the brief perfectly.
Bass is funky as all get out.
Much to like - much to vote for here  ;D
good entry - good luck with it!

Yo Bin and Pomps.

I think your remit of a Stones/Humble Pie track hits the mark bang on.

The track has a mighty groove and John's vocals just grow in stature every time I hear them.

Fine axe work too!  8)

Great! Love it!

Nice, nice guitar/organ bed on this. Great vocals and a lovely guitar solo.

Love the way it takes off for those chorus and that stonking solo. Love all the extra vocal bits too.

Fine work from all you boys. Rocked The Fillmore a few times way back and always love The Stones of course!
Take it easy.

This is right up there with the best of them for me.

A standout song amongst stiff competition.

Might even take the crown...Will surely be up there...

Amazing quality.
