So, I'm still writing music like never before, so I thought I'd share another one with you guys! :) There is an acoustic unfinished version of this song on my SoundCloud page, but I'm planning to this piano instead when I get the time.

I tried a new writing technique on this, writing the verse from my perspective, and then from her perspective in the chorus, and just now I realized I might have written my first ever duet. So here it is;

My Everything
(V1)
She’s got long dark hair
And a smile that lights up the room
She’s my breathing air
And now I have fallen like a fool
(Pre-Chorus)
She’s so far away
I thought I heard her say
(CH)
You’re the one that I kiss goodnight
For you my love I walk a thousand miles
One of these days you’ll change my last name
Be my king and I’ll be your queen
You’re my everything, darling
You’re my everything, darling
(V2)
She’s my rhythm and blues
She lifts me up when I feel down
When I’m with her I can’t lose
I am wearing the kings crown
(Pre-Chorus 2)
She’s so far away
I knew I heard her say
(CH)
You’re the one that I kiss goodnight
For you my love I walk a thousand miles
One of these days you’ll change my last name
Be my king and I’ll be your queen
You’re my everything, darling
You’re my everything, darling
(Bridge)
I heard her whisper in my ear
There’s no rush I’ll always be here
My darling, have no fear
(CH)
You’re the one that I kiss goodnight
For you my love I walk a thousand miles
One day I'll go on and change your last name
I'm your king if you'll be my queen
Be my everything, darling
Be my everything, darling
