@MartynRich That damn Guitar Rig 94 Rock solo preset is rather derivative  ;D Glad you liked the 60s vibe

@diademgrove Cheers Keith - I'll take the Elvis compliment

@Younger Hills Thank you - I was going for a singalong chorus so hopefully achieved that

@shadowfax Cheers Kev - Interesting as you see it after living abroad for a while. It's amazing how easy it is to brainwash

@PaulyX Ah yes, Shed 7 and Cast - Super stuff

@Rightly I know what you mean about Oasis. They are a bit Marmite. I'm a bit on the fence as I do like some of their stuff

@tboswell Thanks Tom - Will have a look at cleaning the mix, or maybe not as I will have moved onto the next thing  ;D

@dinnerwithgreedo I did change the guitar sound  ;D

@montydog Thanks Alan, that's quite a compliment

@MonnoDB Thanks Karen - Pun excused !

@RealKevM Cheers Kev, much appreciated

@MichaelA Thank you, I'm glad to say that I've NEVER watched any of those talent show / dancing type shows unless you count Opportunity Knocks when I was a kid !

@Movin Flavour Cheers Sandeep - Oasis again eh !!!

Thank you all - I promise you the next one will sound nothing like Oasis  ;D ;D ;D

Being from Manchester myself n about the same age as those brothers n living abroad, I was often asked for my opinion. I just didn't like their cliché antics and I eventually preferred blur.
But each to their own.
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Don't eat the yellow snow

And there you have it.

Love the third and fourth lines of the furst verse. Cheeky but sublime.

Lovely on the ears. Like this one.

Yo pomps.

HTF did I miss this one? I see I commented on S/C,but omitted to do the same on here? Put it down to age.  ::)

Anyway,this is a supremely catchy track,hooky as hell.

I watch very little tv outside of motorcycle racing and not much radio,for the reasons you outline in your song. I daresay it all has a market,it's just not for me.

A cheeky little number well executed John.  8)

Great lyrics in this one John.
Cheery? No, more like sad but I get your point.  :D
One minor nit - the chorus seems to drag a bit - maybe try it double speed?  :D :D
You've added another great song to your archive IMO

Hi , a very catchy song , i'm thinking a bit like Cast , which is a good thing , i'm a bit rusty to dare offer any kind of critique as i haven't hardley recorded or touched my guitar for a couple of years ,   other than to say i enjoyed it very much ,
well done .
I wanted to be a hippy....but my mum wouldn't let me !!
