Like the studio shot Martyn  ;D I thought this was an absolutely great lazy vibe. The rhythm guitar is inspired. Everything seems to work so well together. I love the crazy geetar as well, gotta have some crazy guitar  ;D Listened to this a few times now and it gets better every listen.

Another cracker man  :)

Superb guitar work here, you’ve got them sounding amazing. Vocals a bit boomy / bassy for me (could be a question of eq’ing the reverb a bit?). Yeah, but not on a lazy Sunday...  :)

Great theme (obviously no kids yet then!)

I’ll excuse your Spanish at the end  :D

This is ringing with potential.
Still I think it's way off finished.

Guitar is very nice and the feel of it works too.

Some ideas here.
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

And there you have it.

@pompeyjazz - a true gent
@adamfarr  I´ve got two kids actually, this song is just wishful thinking. As for the reverb, that´s what you get when you mixed in headphones. I´ve uploaded a new version that should sound better.
@Rightly - Please don´t be shy, tell my why you don´t think it´s finished. I´d love to hear your ideas. Thanks for the listen and feedback!

Wasn't sure when it started but the guitar riff became quite hypnotic and the vocals fit the vibe perfectly, when that lead break came in I was done for..great track!! :)

best, Kevin :)

Hi Martyn,

Definite bluesy..... But has hints of Oasis.

Love the guitars and some clever lyrics.

Has a beautiful rawness, a great listen.

Dig the acoustic guitars a lot... that insistent rhythm, slightly off kilter chords (some open strings?) and a well sculpted track with a lot of build going on.  How much did it cost to bring Dave Gilmore in for the solo?
It's all too beautiful.

@shadowfax - cheers mate, I like to hypnotise people
@skub - fun is where it´s at - thank you :)
@crystalsuzy - a true narcissist as always - glad you enjoyed it!
@Movin Flavour - hints of Oasis eh? Maybe I sounded annoyed? Thank you
@RealKevM - thank you sir
@PaulyX - no open strings, just lots of barred minor 7ths, hence the French at the end. Gilmore comes free for favours on weekends.

Hi,

Sounds like a Noel Gallagher demo which I can assure you is a great compliment - I think the guy is a genius. The vocal is a bit boomy/muddy but otherwise it has a raw honesty that I like. Great acoustic guitar riff and I like the electric guitar that comes in later. Perfect musical match to the song title.

Hi Martyn,

Very good stuff indeed.
I like how the rhythm just sits in there and the vocal leads it.
For me it needed a bigger soundscape exploding in at 51 seconds - especially for when that really nice solo kicks in.
Just think the initial Lo-Fi quality would contrast really well - especially when it all drops away later in the track.
Love the guitar work - minimal but saying so much.

@MartynRich that acoustic guitar riff is great - love it. Vocals also fab. That guitar part starting at 2.18 I also really like... all in all great, grabby number... hit repeat as it ended... loved it..
