On February the 26nd this year one of the few great Swedish singer/songwriters Magnus Lindberg died.
I only saw him preform once at a local pub some ten years ago. I was one of a few in the place who came for the music most just seemed a bit unsettled buy the guy with a guitar and a harmonica that sat in the corners.
A dozen or so successful Swedish musicians have over the years mentioned him as the major reason for them starting playing music and he's been praised by journalist all through his career.
Today I googled to see if I could find lyrics to some of his songs but the only page I found told me I had won a million bucks at the lottery (and maybe even a Green Card).
So I'd just like to say that I'm the thirteenth of that dozen.
To Magnus Lindberg. Both gone and forgotten. I hope you finally have found peace.
