Hi!

Thinking a bit about acoustics, bass traps and general improvement of mixing with monitors (and @Cawproductions input about ultra curve pro and a reference mic) I came upon a theoretical solution to the acoustic treatment issue.

But I need some raw data about the size of general home studios.
A rough estimate(.5 m) cubic area (height, with, depth) of more or less untreated home studios.

As an example I estimate my living room to be 3x3x2,5m ~ 22 m3.

I thought this place might be just right to get some input.

So, how big is yours?

All the best,
Martin

Hi @Martinswede - I use the guest bedroom, or should I say they sleep in the studio  ;D

It's quite small about 3m x 4m, and is all I need.

Hope it helps

Hi

I use our box bedroom as the music room, which is about 3m by 2m. Fairly high ceiling for a modern house, 8 foot (ish) he said, mixing his feet and metres(!)
