Hi people of good taste.  HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all ;D ;D

This is something that Skub and I did about three months ago.  So it's
 a bit late for summer...sorry ::) ::)

As usual, I sent Skub an 'iffy' backing track, and he turned it into this...

 https://soundcloud.com/binladeda/relax

  Blue sky and sunshine
On a summer day
Burnin' my worries
All away

Everything seems better
On a summer day
Take time out from workin'
Time to play

Let the sunshine ease your trouble
Just roll and let it flow
Worry makes your problems double
Just relax and let it go

People come and go
Doin' their thing
Busker in the shade of the corner shop
He starts to sing

I got no worries (he said)
I won't be here for long
Stop with your hurry now
And hear my song

Let the sunshine ease your trouble
Just roll and let it flow
Worry makes your problems double
Just relax and let it go

Hope you enjoy.  Thanks for taking the time to give it a listen ;D ;D

Nowt as queer as folk...........my gran

Hey Uncle Bin,
Lovely reggae-tinged track custom-built for the poolside. Well the days are getting longer already aren’t they, so I guess it’s fine to signpost us in the direction of summer.
I dug the ‘liquid’ sound effects and those reverb-laden slinky guitars, plus Skub’s vocals are cool of course.
Don’t know if you remember a band called ‘Bassomatic’ - William Orbit’s first band, early 90s.  It reminded me a bit of their vibe. I was a big fan of them (and this).
It's all too beautiful.

Ah ! The boys are back in (Kingston) town. What a lovely laid back summer vibe that cheered me up no end. Top quality playing, performance and production with that distinctive Bin / Skub stylee. Loved it guys  8)

Everyone needs a summer song in the first week of Jan when things get a bit bleak for a while after Christmas. I like the vibe to this and its reggae/rock fusion. Harmonies are cool, a bit Talking Heads and then that solo is really delicious!

I am ready to book my summer hols now!  ;D
My latest novel: pls check it out!

Relax? I can't find my good rum!  :D Just this cheap stuff.
Excellent work here boys - what with the binster's groove and the axe swinging and carribean vocals.  :D
I love this song's guts!

happy 2019  :D

Great collab guys.

Davey.....can you play very guitar style.

This has hints of early Police Regatta De Blanc....really clever.

Great singing Davey, love the lyrics Busker in the Corner Shop.... Sets the scene really well.

Great production .....would love to do a collab with either of you!!!!

A very cool listen.

Bloody freezin here but nothing like a bit of reggae-infused music to bring the thoughts of summer closer.

Another feast of guitar treats from you two.

That chorus doesn't bash you on the head and make you scream for mercy but by the end it has gently worked its way into my poor brain and won't let go.

(I've been listening to a lot of reggae -80s vintage- recently and might knock something up sometime!)

Roll on summer!
Take it easy.

You can check my stuff out here. Mini-album getting bigger slowly. Free download if you're poorer than me.

As ever, bin overstates my involvement in this track,he's just being nice!  :D

@Movin Flavour Bin played all the guitar you hear,Sandeep. I did vocals, bass and mixed it up a little.  :)

Bin's a cool dude to work with and both of us have been out of action for months,so it's good to hear this again.

Thanks for all the kind remarks.  :)

Great backing track Bin, and the melody and lyrics fit it like a glove :) Beautiful vocals as well.

Whato @Binladeda & @Skub - Llovely piece of work, right up my alley, bin - You really do have a signature sound...

Really the best song of 2019  8)

LOVE the BVox..

Getting me in the mood to do something in the Reggae vein...

Keep as is, super prod from Skub, nice work indeed, tricky to control so many gtrs.

What are the guitars you used? there sounds like a Strat and a Tele...

Lovely

Sumptuous.

Don't think I've heard a better vocal from Davy...he's done a fab job with what was, I suspect, already a great instrumental track.

Really super work, fellas.
