Hi MonnoDB!

I listened to the song yesterday no my laptop, but the speakers are busted so I paused it. It might be the early morning, coming in from a smoke and coffee, freezing outside, I put on my good headphones and listened two times in a row. A warm embrace.
The song is quite simple, but the performance is nothing but simple. Moving to say the least. In a way it saddens me, breaks me down. But it's worth all that pain.

Have you tried playing/singing it a whole note lower? Your voice sounds just a little bit airy to me.

Thank you for this song,
Martin

Quick post to thank you for your lovely comments @SlavaB @Wicked Deeds @The Portrait Piano @LostBoy - much appreciated.

@mikek only the compression in a logic vocal preset. I tend to use volume automation apart from that but I’ll look at EQ - thank you!

@Martinswede hmmm lower you say? I’m much more comfortable in my lower register and the chorus is high so it’s an interesting suggestion - I wrote it in that key (actually originally to a completely different set of chords) and never even thought of changing! Thank you!

lovely song, soothing
Well done
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.
