She did y'know!!LOL
had this on the back burner for a while, forgot about it and found it today while reminding myself how cubase works LOL :o

https://soundcloud.com/knmac/she-led-me-on-by-knmac

I'm high and dry,
she's gone for good,
I can't remember why,
now I'm high and dry
she fooled me,
and I told myself a lie.

she teased me good,
she took me in,
cause I aint made of wood,
yeah she teased me good,
I was blinded,
and she felt,
just like she should,

chorus,
she led me on,
she led me on,
now I don't know where she's gone,
she led me on,
now I know that she was a livin lovin con.

the stakes were high,
she never said goodbye,
she took my station wagon,
with my dog inside,
gonna find that doggy,
aint tellin you no lie,

she led me on,
she led me on,
now I don't know where she's gone,
she led me on,
now I know that she was a livin lovin con.

she teased me good,
she took me in
cause I aint made of wood,
yeah she teased me good,
I was blinded and she felt,
like I thought she would,

she led me on,
she led me on,
now I don't know where she's gone,
she led me on,
now I know that she was a livin lovin con.©KNmac

Ah ! It's great to be able to listen to a new @shadowfax track again after all this time. This is a great Blues rocker Kev and I love the build that you've generated. I think that maybe a geetar solo might be required to add to to it. It's great to see / hear you back man. Looks like you've spent some time in the studio  ;D Let us know how the sound booth / tardis stuff goes  :)

Cracking tune, reminds of Gerry Cinnamon 'Lullaby' if you've heard of him? Anyhow, love what you've done here.

Nice one Kevin - I like how you absconded that guitar part from vintage r&r and modified it to make it fresh and new.
Lovely vox and harms - lots to warm up to in this rocker.
Nice to see you posting again - the bar is again raised  ;D

cheers
Paul

Whoa - did they discover a never before heard long lost old pre fame Beatles recording (and remix a bit ;-)).

A pleasure to listen to - I like the (apparent) simplicity, just really entertaining.

Unmistakably @shadowfax  and all the better for it

Sounds crisp and clear... Great vocals of course... And super to hear something new from you. Great bluesy twanging guitar work too.

A solid track...one for the album, perhaps ;) tee hee

A fun little bluesy rocker. There is nothing I don't like about it. Thanks for posting.

A change of direction for you Kev.

Great Blues - Am imagining myself travelling in mid USA in a convertible.

Great track, am loving that bass line, sudden ending didn't see that coming.

An excellent listen.

What a fantastic rock'n blues Kevin :) Something a little different from you and you aced it. Perfect lyrics for a blues. I thought it started and ended a little abruptly but that easily fixed. A beautifully produced track  :)

Hi Kevin, great vox as usual, loved the rocky/bluesy feel, very early 60's Beatles feel to it.Reminds me of something I can't quite put my finger on. Very good!

Cheers

Great vocals and well played, and you can't beat a good old 12 bar, really nice mix too.

Cheers, Mikey
