Hey pal, welcome back, been far too long.
Catchy, groovy (yes, I know nobody sub 50 yrs use that word any more but you know what: I just don't care  :D)
A little ELO vibes in this, great vocals (expected nothing less) and good performance.
I bet there is a bass guitar in there but I'd prefer a little bit more of it, everything else is good mix wise.
Well done and welcome back!

If there's one thing I've heard enough of in my life, it's 12 bar blues!

However...I liked this...I know, I've surprised myself.

The melody was very simple and quite monotonal in places but this is what hooked me in. There were some really nice hooks to it then landed beautifully with the undelying chords

Combine this with the variation in the instrumentation and playing style, along with the drop down section and I'm almost a 12 bar fan again.

Almost.

Hi,

This is well up to your usual Everest-like heights of quality. Catchy hook to this traditional rock based song. You have included enough clever production to avoid this being too predictable and that repeated "led me on" refrain is very effective. You make it sound so bloody easy...grrrrr!!!

I enjoyed this very much.

Hello,

I like the simplicity of the song. It's very nice. The voice is very good and I love the break at 2 ', and the end is very effective. I like a little less the sound of the drums, maybe it's a question of mixing, for my opinion.

Yo Kev.

Good to hear a song from you.

You took the old well used 12 bar boogie and made it fresh and accessible.

Your vocals really suit the song,a fine listen.  8)

Sorry I'm late to comment here Kevin and bumping this back up to the top again (you don't have to thank me if you're worried about that....I'll take it as understood!).

Anyway what I like most about this is the great vocal and the harmonies. It's got a great drive too of course and those busy Jamstix drums do a good job in the drive department.....and that simple but very effective chorus helps a lot too.
Take it easy.

You can check my stuff out here. Mini-album getting bigger slowly. Free download if you're poorer than me.

Fun one! It's got 60s vibe to it, which I think is cool. Really digging the guitar. I like this a lot. It's nice to hear from you again. Glad you're back.
