Hello! This is my first post. I'm in the United States (I get the impression most here are from Europe?).
I've been investigating the music of Jason Isbell lately, and was intrigued by his song "Cumberland Gap," which seems to be really popular with his audience. It reminded me of "My Hometown" by Bruce Springsteen, so I wanted to write something with a similar theme.
Now...I don't have Bruce Springsteen or John Mellencamp to sing this song, so you'll be enduring my vocals. Try to imagine those other guys singing this and it gets 80% better!
