Just thought I'd share some success I managed to have this year.
Back in March 23 myself and my band went into the studio to record our second single of the year, a song called "Typical Boy". One morning before work I sat watching telly, happened to be ITVs this morning programme....the had segment where they asked any unsigned artists to send music in to be considered for a fashion segment.....so I thought it be a laugh to send in our new single NEVER EVER thinking I'd hear anything back..... anyway fast forward a month I received an email saying they really like the song and would love to use it for the show!!!!! Gonna be honest thought it was a total piss take. Couple days later I had to sign a contract so they had my permission to use it. They used around 2 mins of the song, I can honestly say one of the most proudest moments of my life.
I recorded at when it happened I've uploaded it to youtube and I'll share it with you.

https://on.soundcloud.com/4WfPfLike I've said I never thought this would happen, when I joined this forum 3 years ago I had no band and never really shown my songs to anyone but through all the contributions on here really giving me the confidence and to grow and to reach out to other musicians and create a band made all that happen.
