Hi all,

I'm Matt Smith (friends call me Miffer), I'm 30, and have been writing songs since my early teens. I've known Tone (the boss around here) since I was about 18. He found me singing covers in a pub many moons ago...

I'm currently considering ACTUALLY going and doing some gigs. I'm naughty because I tend to write songs then keep them all to myself. I always seem to pick fault with the songs or the recordings and worry they're not good enough blah blah blah. Basically I make a lot of excuses...

I've been procrastinating for at least ten years now and it's getting boring, so I'm planning to take my songs outside and let other people hear them for once :)

I have a myspace which a bit sparse at the moment, but I'll put some new songs up very soon:

Great to have you on board!  I have fond memories of your gigs all those moons ago, and really looking forward to getting together and swapping tunes.
Feel free to post links to your songs here on the forum if you fancy a bit of feedback from members.
Can't believe you're 30 now... WTF? hahaha

yes im very very old- I tried outrunning time and failed massively ;D
