Hello Old Friends, I have been out for a while travelling but still working in my mobile studio.
Here is a new song "The FOX", let me know what you think - thanks a million in advance.
Regards Klaus Rysoe

Lyrics:

1)
Over the hills you run
from those who wants to catch you
try - to escape
The nicely dressed but screaming boys
with their bloody dogs and hats on
one more time you smell their hate

CH:
Once upon a time
in a different world
a very different life
quite okay - everything was one to one
no one has to run
or escape from guns and hate

2)
Time has changed
but concerns are the same
you can relax in your cave
nurse the kids to grow brave
when it’s time for the hunt
and the moon shining blond
with a message for the night
to run faster than light
You know where to search
getting old starts to hurt
you catch what you need
generations to feed

CH:

Outro:

Red as the Sun
Is the Fox on the run
The Fox on the run.

Hello Klaus,

Quite a dark beginning, which unfolds into something much more chilled.  Fine choice of notes for the guitar melody intro.  Love the unexpected almost discordant sounding notes.  Perhaps take a little treble away from the guitar eq though this might just be my preference. I’d suggest trying to raise your vocal above the music as it currently sits very low in the mix.  There’s a section when the instruments are not so prominent and it is then that the vocal takes centre stage. If tithes could be achieved throughout, the track would benefit immensely.  It’s always great to hear backing vocals feature in a production so kudos there for going the extra mile. Your lyrics are unambiguous and succinct, fitting very well with the melody.  .A fine polished production

Gruess Dich Klaus

As Wicked Deeds said quite an atmospheric start and definite Dave Gilmour sounds on the axe, can't comment on the structure too much as that's a personal thing, on the production side there's a few things one could look at...the drums seemed to lack any oomph, you might look at sticking some comp on the Kick and snare.. play with the EQ too, it's to 'muddy',  the duck the drums with a sidechain comp from the Lead Vocal, so they don't get in the way, and raise the overall level of the LVox by a couple of db. Stick an intelligent stereo width plugin on the stereo buss...

Hope this helps

Hello Klaus, I like the sound very much. Felt a bit like I was landing back in the 70's. Very cool was the dark beginning.Nothing to criticise.
All the best
