Hey all!

I have a song that I started writing in 2012. It took a bunch of different turns and I finally came back to work on it again. Would love to hear your thoughts. As always, this is a build up and a listen from start to finish would be greatly appreciated.

Comments on the production side would be helpful as well. Would love to see how this sounds on your systems (professional and not), especially the ending half which has given me the most trouble.

Well, I'm no expert, but I sure do like it. A lot. I think it builds up really nice and I can't express how much I love the harmonies. I have no nits, but if you put this on an album, I hope I notice, because I want a copy.

You love your build up songs don’t ya? u are bloody good at them too.

I need u to teach me how you get your choir of Mickys to sound so fab man!! That’s a great sound u have there when it’s all kicking off.

I love the prechorus especially, great job with that! Gotta be honest, I wanted just a little bit more going on in that first chorus, I understand you’re building up to that epic 2.20ish part, but I just wanted a few more m&ms on the trail.

I was listening on my Apple pods and mix sounded fine until the heavy kick came in right towards the end....maybe it was cos it was unexpected, but on my second listen that still sounded a bit loud in the mix to my ears.

Congrats on another well put together track mate. Hopefully u feel like u can put this one to bed now?? ...maybe just a couple more tweaks then....haha! We’ve all been there mate!!

@LostBoy Thank you, sir!! haha that choir of mickys took me a LONG TIME! it was such a pain in the butt but I finally felt like I got it to sound like I wanted. I THINK.....lol. I haven't put this one to bed yet lol. I took some advice from some comments and worked a new version. Gonna post it in this thread, but i'll share a link here. Would love to hear your thoughts on this new version.
