 Hi guys,

A moment of peace and love in a troubled world ;D ;D

My second grandson arrived at 7 o'clock  ;D ;D ;D  4 days late.  7.8lbs, No name yet. I'm pushing for
Lennon.  I got Hendrix for the last one  ;D

Bin a bit of a sht year for me so far.  What with, a couple of Op's, Kidney stones, Donald Trump and a difficult pregnancy. So the
birth was a blessed relief......a moment of pure joy and elation ;D ;D .  We were really worried for a while......

Anyway, I put this Instrumental together by way of a celebration.  Not sure about the production, or the ending, but I think
it builds well, and is quite 'hooky'.  Be interested in any thoughts.....trying to mix the modern with the old  ;D ;D
 As in life.....

 Take care one and all
 We will live forever......

I can't tell you anything about production, but it sounded fine to me. Also the ending. Nothing struck me as anything but fun and great listening. I liked the mellow bit in the middle, nice contrast, I think.

Happy new gramps day.  8)

I didn't know Trump was involved in the difficult pregnancy, does that make Trumpety your son in law?  :o

The track is a cracker man. Monster bass lines 40 second in. Hot stuff! Most excellent lead work from yourself too,ya big show off. I like the ending,I think it fits well.

Best wishes to ya and yours.  8)

@Binladeda - Yeah, as The Skubmeister says, Happy Day! So that's Hendrix in the photo, cool, My! how he's changed from those pics from that gig at Berkley Community Centre... :)

Let us know what you manage to wangle , name-wise, I guess Zappa could shoe horn in, or Pass, or even Reinhart, or maybe if his forename were Paul you could call him Paul Paul Binladeda (form Les Paul) has a certain ring to it.

Or maybe parts of the guitar, like Bigsby - Sounds cool, but PAF is just not fair in the playground....

Anyways I'll be taking a listen when I can....speak soon Mr B

...Maybe what @Skub meant was that Trump was the result of a really difficult pregnancy....

 Hi,

Just replaced the original track with one that isn't so 'muddy'.
Sorry, but I thought the guitars were a bit lost in it all, and it was
 giving me sleepless nights  ;D ;D ;D .  Anyway, finished now....promise ;D

Thanks for the kind words @cowparsleyman @Skub  (see what I did there.  I've
 impressed myself)

Unfortunately my new granson hasn't been blessed with a name like Hendrix or
Zappa.  They've named him Theo...Teddy for short.  For a moment I thought
they'd named him after Roy Orbison  ;D ;D

Ah man! I don’t normally dig instrumentals, they have to be really interesting to get my attention....well yours had me hitting repeat! U have created a fantastic soundscape here mate...a great musical story with some great twists and turns and an awesome energy to it.

The guitar was bloody great and it is a very hooky affair. I love the lo fi vibe. My fave bit though has to be the wonderful contrast of the breakdown. I imagine that was the moment Theo arrived??

Really accomplished stuff mate.  ;D

Hey Bin,
What an interesting and amazing journey that was...I loved all the twists and turns  :) Truly, a celebratory song, with amazing guitar playing 8)
And you're right, it is very hooky and I love the ending 8) Great mix of young and old!

Congrats on your new grandson, Theo :-* I like that name a lot. I have a very creative friend with that name ;)
May his arrival bring in a year of peace, good health, love and joy  :-*

If we keep rock'n and making music, I'm sure we'll live forever :) :)

Whato Mr B - Glad you got over the difficult pregnancy, sure sharpened up you playing, love the colours coming through, I'm rather fond of instrumentals, so this was music to my ears, in a music to my ears kind of way.

So it started like human league and finished like Bonamassa, quite a job.

You always seem to meld stuff that shouldn't be melded, and you meld it so well.

Great work.

Congratulations on your happy news! Very uplifting song and feels like a train jamming down the tracks of life, baby. I dig it a lot.

Only thing I don't like is the clap or snap sounds. I'prefer real to synthesized, which always sound kind of predictable to me. But I'm weird, and it's just my personal bias. Otherwise excellent song to remember the good times to.

Hi Bin,

So sorry to hear that you've been having a bad time but happy for you with the great news.

I do like a bit of Bin - it always makes me feel that anything is musically possible. This features your usual arsenal of intricate, imaginative arrangement and mind blowing guitar playing. It's maybe a little heavy for my taste but it's outstanding nonetheless. You just never know what's coming next, you follow no rules and copy no fools.

Great piece.

Has a a real road trip kind of feel, going on different segments of your journey.

Some excellent production and great guitars.
