It's been awhile since I posted anything here, due to RL situations, but I saw this shorty comp and thought I'd enter this song just for fun.
I worked on this a few years ago, so I thought I'd rework it for this comp. If it has to be something brand new, then I won't enter it.

Really good and playful.
I don't care for the shorty comp but this song really doesn't seem cut short.
An enjoyable listen.

Yeah, like others I've missed your songs popping up and messing with my head.
Loads crammed in here, and loved the idea like a minute long prayer but not the kind of prayer you usually hear!

Love the squeaky 80s synths, reminds me of John Grant in places.

Hi Suzy,

Your recordings zing with nuttiness and invention. I'd know one anywhere even before you start singing. This is well up to your usual standard. I found it funny but profound at the same time. All the work that goes into these tracks - like a Faberge egg for the ears.

You've done such a great job here Suzy that you completely blew away my pre-listen misgivings about spokenword rather than singing.

The vocal fits perfectly over that neat backing and the bvs and little asides woven in really make this quite a work of art.

Good song - good lyrics! 
Wins the prize for most lyrics in one minute too.
I couldn't make out some of the lyrics w/o reading along but prob just me had that problem.
