Well I made it well before the deadline!

This has some peculiarities (not just my singing!) and having got used to it now it's hard for me to know if I get away with it.

Anyway here it is....

I'll Find The Time

There's no place for anything new in my life
My days are tied
At night I'm spoken for
Now you come along
And what you give to me
It's too good to ignore
My heart is crying out for more
Don't know how I'll do it

But I'll find the time

Smooth stuff Ian. I particularly liked the discordant stuff going on and thought that the dual vocals worked really well. It's a vibe in a minute almost like those sites where you can listen to a clip of a song but this is well constructed and you managed and intro and outro as well  :)

Ooo, smoky, torch-singer vibe. Transported me into a smoke-filled piano lounge (but without the smell, as I'm allergic....). Relaxing, enjoying an evening out with friends, and listening to the music.

Of course, I have to mention the "And whatchoo give to me"....sorry, but I'm OCD about that, I guess. Otherwise, though, no nits at all. I love the ambiance.

Anything with some "bah bah ba ba bah" does it for me. Really lovely and totally different from other entries.
Very enjoyable, just felt an ending rather than a fade out works best on this comp, nice to hear the 1min sown up and tied with a bow.

Any super entry!

Excellent stuff Viscount - the smooth vibe hides all the work that must have gone into this one minute.
Love the bass, the vox, the percussion and you even had time for a fade!
A fade! In a one minute song!
It's not possibe - but you did it!

Defo a contender

This is just so darn cool and laid back. 8) I was totally zoned out, and then it ended. I'm sure a lot of work went into this, but as Paulski says,
it's so smooth and effortless that you'd never know it. I love the two voices, and yes you can definitely get away with singing. Loved every minute of it...oh wait, there's only one ;D

I don't care so much for this shorty challenge.

But I do really like your sound here.
It does sound sect hey though, it'd be good if you finished it.
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Yo VCC.

I thought since I have a minute,Ill take a listen.  ;)

Love the lounge lizard/jazzy backdrop. I was expecting a suitably chilled jazz vocal. The helium induced falsetto comes as a surprise, but I like musical surprises, they make me smile.

I let it spin/repeat for a few minutes and it sounded just right.

Sound work man.  8)

Get the shorty challenge, but it leaves me feeling cheated. Love the mood and creativity, and hope you'll find the time to produced a full version. It's too good not to give us more.

 OMG  ;D ;D  I want MORE  ;D

Bit unfair to only give us one minute......I can really hear this going places ;D

Love the vibe and coolness of it all.  Great combination of voices, works really well.
Some amazing touches in there, especially liked the sax towards the end. Innocent and
 groovy....Just a masterful piece of work. ;D

 Loved it

Nowt as queer as folk...........my gran

Thanks all you good people for listening.

Glad the dual vocal works OK. I wanted a female really but couldn't be bothered to go through all the motions of trying to get somebody interested so faked one up....took some doing! Don't think it would have passed muster exposed on its own so doubled it up with the croaky one I did as a demo take.

Don't know that I'll ever be extending it though....it was written as a minute song and can't think right now where else I'd go with it.

Cheers for all nice comments folks.
