Hi there!

Here's a song that I've just finished mixing etc...I've had to rework the production a few times to get it all to sit right!

The story behind this song is really about how we all (or more particularly me) use external references to validate our worth. In some cases this forms almost a kind of addiction, That addiction could manifest itself through drugs, alcohol etc. but can also show itself through some misconceived view of what perfection is, and then chasing it. There is usually some initial rush associated with the hit, but the cost of the hit can be deadly over time.

I recognised this pattern of behaviour in myself and basically my body would not allow me to continue pursuing the external validation any longer...It is now time to return to the real meaning of what it means to be me.
