Oh boy, are we in safe hands here. With the personnel behind this, it had to be good and it is. Lovely, detailed and clean sound. Superb guitar playing, heart on the sleeve vocals. Bleeding excellent collab as I would expect.

Yo y'all.

This is one of those songs I thought I'd commented on ages ago...but obviously I didn't.  ???

Anyway,enough of my senior moments.

Pomps does this style so well,I reckon he shares blood with Mr.Lennon.

Good job from Andy and Mikey to nail it all together.  8)

Sounds absolutely fab guys! Great performance and mix, class all the way through. Can't really add anything constructive. Well, I'd drop the brass as it did not work for me at all but then again it's way back in the mix so it did not disturbed too much. Once again, well done guys!

Hi Jambrains
Thanks for taking a listen and commenting, The Brass is a marmite thing, we tried to keep the genre true and felt a bit of brass was the way. Its tucked back as a bed just to pad out the midrange.

Cheers

Yeah, great production and real easy on the ear. A classic song, well written and recorded, with some super guitar licks.  Nothing else to say other than well done guys.

Hi guys, nice work, a touch of Oh Darling from Abbey Road, but with John singing instead of Paul. Great production and authentic sound.
Nice one!
Cheers

Hi all,

@shadowfax yes Johns vocal really suited this track and he nailed the style and vocal tone. we were super chuffed with the result. Great guy too.
@Jamie Not heard the Oh darling track but will google in a mo, Thanks for the authentic sound comment, it was a goal of ours to try and get this sounding a bit vintage.

Thanks again guys.

Yessir, PJ knocks it out the park with the vocal on this one.
It made me think of the film "The Commitments".
A bit like CPM I found the lead guitar licks a little distracting sometimes but maybe they just need to sit slightly further back in the mix, I think the song does need them.
Loved the meld of instruments in this and the measured unhurried pace. I could picture you all up on stage in some sweaty blues club playing this at around 2:30 in the morning.  Felt authentic.
It's all too beautiful.
