What an amazing minute of pure listening joy :) It was just too darn short, but of course that's the comp.  :o
That chorus is wonderful...the harmonies are beautiful. Great story line as well.  8)
I think the next comp should be to make a longer song of these shorties.  8)

you manage to have an intro and verse build and really catchy chorus
well compacted mate
you must have attended the ‘john west’ school of songwriting
are you saving the 12 inch for the next album ?

Its been a while since I last posted. I've discovered painting which seems to be more time consuming than songwriting. Anyway enough of my apologies.

Great song, well sung and produced. My only suggestion would be to have the last "of your time" sang acapella. For me the song would then end on a question mark rather than a full stop.

Its only a minor point so feel free to ignore me if you disagree,
