Hi to all my old forum friends and "Hello" to the many new folk who have joined whilst I've been away.

I really miss the days of listening to all the creative folk amongst us, but I've been having a terrible time of late, and just feel to tired to do anything or focus on anything. It's just sleep - work - hospital - bathe - repeat.

My brother suffered a Cardiac arrest some time ago and has yet to recover any sort of mental capacity due to Anoxic brain injury. It's a daily challenge seeing him the way he is.
Those who know me know my lyrics tend to be dark at the best of times, so eventually this will fuel a whole new depth of despair I would imagine.
My brother, who I've always been particularly close to, would laugh at that. He always said I'm too moody!

Anyway, missing you all. Hope to be back soon; it is nearly Hallowe'en afterall.

 :)

Hi Digger,

I'm so sorry to hear that. My brother also had a heart attack a few years ago, and although it was really bad, there was no brain injury. I find it terrifying to think about what you're going through, and send you good vibes and hope for the best.

Please take care of yourself, and know that I'm thinking about you.

Yo diggs.

Sorry to hear about your troubles and I hope things improve for your bro. I've missed you about the place. It would seem of late there are lots of folk on the forum having issues of one sort or another. My parents and mother in law are all in their 90s now,so I'm always on standby waiting for that phone call/medical appointments, etc. From what I see, living a long time isn't always a good thing. Quality above quantity every time.

Good vibes to Mrs.Nooms and Lynn's bro too.  :)

Hey @digger72 ...

I'm new around here but I know you and your music from another site (zedd).. So sorry to hear about your brother and your troubled times.. Such a tough thing to go through for all of you.

You'll know that I am a huge fan of your music so I look forward to hearing more if it when you get back to it.. In the meantime, take care of yourself as you take care of those around you..

Karen.

So sorry and sad to hear your news Digger. It really is a terrible thing to go through a loved one having a severe brain injury.

You may find some valuable information and support from your local Headway group. They've been a lifeline for me, offering everything from financial support for hospital visits to at-home rehab. https://www.headway.org.uk

Look after yourself mate, and very best wishes to you, your brother, and your family.
