Hi all,

Used some lyrics I wrote for a song with different music and fit to a new song idea.  Heavily influenced by my favourite band AIC.  Feedback welcome on this first draft:

HUMAN REMAINS
(Words by Jonathan Linton, Music by Jonathan Linton)

Your metamorphosis is going to plan
Remove compassion as much as you can
Your lust for wealth’s your one true love
And the term mother ###### fits like glove

Driven by materialistic gains
There’s nothing left, no human remains
Heartless soul, ice runs through your veins
And no remorse, no human remains

How’d you get yourself in this mess
Such an #######, and such a success
All your friends you say are bona fied
When you’re in crisis will they be by yourside

Driven by materialistic gains
There’s nothing left, no human remains
Heartless soul, ice runs through your veins
And no remorse, no human remains

You think it’s just a game
But you sold your soul
Sold your soul for fortune and fame

Driven by materialistic gains
There’s nothing left, no human remains
Heartless soul, ice runs through your veins
And no remorse, no human remains
No human remains
No human remains

Do I hear some Bowie influence?? I really like the choice of content/topic. Not typically my style of music at all, but really suits the subject matter. Rhyme scheme is a little too perfect for such a dystopian theme, but it works anyway. I'm not expert by any stretch, but I wouldn't change anything.

I like it very much :)

It's a great skill to biuld the whole song around one riff.
I like this technology.

I see you are quite active and have a lot of song ideas.
That's great cause then you can choose the most successful tracks and to provide wide diversity on your album.

Man I am liking this a lot so not going to fault it, when you first started singing I though David Bowie had come back home, kind of liking the grungy sound too

cheers
