Here is the latest song from Andy and myself, after being told on several occasions that our songs sound like a certain band, we decided we would actually do one in their style, see if you can guess who it is  , apologies for not posting the lyrics, Andy has them on his computer, I will add them as soon as I can get a copy from him, anyway, here it is, we hope you like it.

Hi Guys. Yep, you've got the Oasis sound down to a tee. This is an enjoyable listen, very melodic and some nice guitar licks. Vocals are sounding really good here. This is a very catchy sing-a-long number.

There's a real Britpop revival going on right now, have you heard of a band called The DMA'S? I think they would be right up your alley.

Hi Guys

Thanks for everyone's input and for having a listen.

Here is the soundcloud link as I know a few peeps are put off listening on youtube. The reason for this was that mixing this was a FR****in mission and I got myself in a bit of a pickle focusing in on minute details, Had to just say, STOP, and say enough tweaking. Thought we would test bed it on youtube first as they do the least normalisation.
Anyway, enough bleating from me, heres the soundcloud.
I will as mike to edit the original post too.

Hi @Skub , I've added the soundcloud link to the original post now, as Andy said, he's been faffing about with the mix for ages and wanted to try it out before uploading it everywhere else, but its finally out there now for (hopefully) everyone to enjoy.

Hey fellas! This has got a real “Blur” vibe going! I love it!   

I was told that in my teens and throughout my twenties, that all my songs sounded like the Backstreet Boys!! So watch this space...

This is another fantastically produced track. Everyone sounds great, especially the drummer! In fact, if I had anything remotely “nitty” to say, it might be that the drummer is toooo good and is perhaps a touch too busy in the pre-choruses on those fills....(only there though) just my thoughts after a few listens.

Really pro sounding stuff as usual lads.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, Leo, I'd love to hear some stuff from your backstreet boys period,  , and I'll tell the drummer to dial it back a bit on the next one!

Nooms, thanks a lot, I keep telling Andy to turn up the vocals but he keeps turning them down as he doesn't like his singing, but it seems like he got it right this time, its a pain the way the same recording sounds different on different streaming sites, makes getting the mix right a real nuisance.

Brilliant pastiche/tribute - better than many, many Oasis songs. Lovely production, lovely track. I would listen to your singing over Liam's any day. A very fine piece of music which if you turned down the Oasis feel could have commercial potential.
