Hi,
Hope you're all enjoying summer. Here's the latest instalment from us. I wrote a easy going country tune, sent it to nooms and about a year later it arrives fully formed!

So this is the last track we're going to put on the ep so please have a listen and do let us know what you think.
 :)
neil

your bigger than that, walk away
you’ll just make a mess and spoil
forget the home address and all
graces slipping by, blank pages never lie
only right between the eyes
blame it shame it no reply,

your bigger than that now,
you is a friendly cat now
they shouldn’t do that now,
but they will,
walk away

making you unwell, they can go to hell
one look and, you can tell, the time
its all unwrapped now, all in a flap now
you stand back and you may,
walk away
walk away

do yourself a favor, dont you labour the point,
walk away

if you want a peaceful life
get out now on your bike
happens does what it like
do yourself a favor, dont labor the point
walk away

Very sophisticated vibe for a country tune. I dig it. Love the vox a lot.

Yo Neil & nooms

The interwebz can be a great suck of life and time,I love it and I hate it in equal measures, but sometimes, just sometimes I stumble on things which make it all worthwhile.
You know when it happens because it swipes you sideways and demands your attention.

I've found so much good music in unexpected places. Music which will never catch the eye/ear of the businessman and will remain what we used to call 'underground'. Maybe there will be a revolution and things will change, but I won't hold my breath.

I did hold my breath when I first heard this track.

My flag remains flapped,my skirt is blown up,my boat is floated...etc.

Yeah,I kinda like this and I'm past explaining why. They can go to hell.  8)

nice job gentlemen
it is at times better to walk away

marvellously produced
the sentiment is very relatable

really good song!
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Don't eat the yellow snow

And there you have it.

Real laid back country music....tap my feet material.

Beautifully sung and love those harmonicas.

A great listen.

Hi Guys,

Once again, I'm with Skub. I echo all he says - in fact, he took the words right out of my mouth! (Not a bad song title!). Right up my street musically with that lovely laid back feel that comes from a great chord progression. Totes fab collab.

thanks for the comments
@Katieoasis @richardyot @pompeyjazz @Paulski @Skub @Rightly @Movin Flavour @montydog

lovely musical feel neil achieves,  this was a real pleasure to work on
i had the title already and was about to suggest to neil be a good name for the 4 song EP we were putting together but fortunatly neil then sent over this gift of a backing track and the walk away title cried out take me take me ..
anyway it spawned a narrative from all the times i should have walked away..
so we now have a 5 song EP soon to surface
once again thanks all, really encourages to keep going

i may not believe this tomorrow...
