I haven't posted a song here in a long time, but I have something I wanted to share: a new song that features forum regular LostBoy on vocals. I asked for his help as I thought his voice would do the song a lot more justice than mine. It's a laid-back feelgood tune, to go along with the summer heatwave we're enjoying here in the UK:

Lyrics:

Can't say what you think
You Can't do things your way
You're right on the brink
Between gone and okay

You tell me that you're lost
And you're being led astray
You want to blow the darkness away

Just let the sunshine in
Yeah let the light right in

There's too much to think
But there's not much to say
So I'll buy you a drink
And we'll talk anyway

You tell me that it's just
So hopeless and you say
You want to push the darkness away

Just let the sunshine in
Yeah let the light right in

You say to me
It's so cold inside
So I say to you
The sun will shine outside

Just let the sunshine in
Yeah let the light right in

Groovy and dance worthy. I like the chorus a lot. The singing reminds me a bit of Andy Bell, a good thing. I think the guitar is cool, but maybe a bit too subtle for the song. I'd go in a more funky direction with it. Pretty song.

I think it's a nice song , theres no bitterness or issues in the lyrics just a happy song for a long car journey - nice song

Love the feel of this. Very 80s and kind of psychedelic

guitar sounds so nice

very haunting melody and mix.

This is very cool!!!

Nice lightweight pop which grows as Leo gets his his lovely stacked vocals going. Neat guitars given it a slight Roddy Frame vibe.
I was wondering if a vocal only chorus would provide some relief and variation towards the end
Cool

Cool tune.

Reminds me of Chris Rea.... With the guitars and 10 cc ( I'm not in Love) with the chorus.

Especially like the guitars.

A good listen.
