EXPOSED

I feel exposed
Like an open wound that hasn’t closed
Cause I’m hurting
But there’s no healing
I know that I’m to be a “man”
But it’s just how I’m feeling
Trying to do whatever I can
The whole world can see me for me
Suddenly I don’t feel free
I'm exactly where I didn't want to be
With the dying of another day
I’m close to just walking away
It all sounds cliche
But my mind is leading me astray
I am way out of my depth
I struggle just to catch my breath
I feel exposed

I like it - sounds like something I'd write

If it were me I wouldn't have the just in the first line
Supposed in 5th line but I know that's just a typo

I like it - I'm just a bit confused by the middle part
The world can see me for me
Suddenly I don't feel free

It sounds like a bit of a contradiction

Just my take on it I liked it otherwise

To me, those lines just mean that with social media we are so exposed to world and from that concept I don't feel "free", social media can be an amazing tool but also it can be negative. That's where I came from. I don't think I projected it in the best way but it is very much a rough first draft.
